·         Area of Sindh is 140914 sq. kms.

·         Sindh became the province of Pakistan in 1947.

·         Sindh is in the South-east of Pakistan.

·         Sindh is bordered by Balochistan in the and west and north

·         Sindh is bordered by Punjab in the northeast

·         Indian States of Rajasthan & Gujrat, borders Sindh in the East

·         In the South, Arabian Sea borders Sindh Province.

·         Sindh is in the western corner of South Asia.

·         Formerly Sindh was the Division under British Rule before 1935.

·         Sindh was separated from the Bombay in 1935.

·         Sindh was annexed by British in 1843.

·         Charles Napier invaded the Sindh in the Battle of Miyani.

·         At the time of annexation of Sindh, Mirs were rulers of Sindh.

·         It is quoted in the book "Akhbar-ul-Ta'waal" that Sindh is named after the name of grand-son of Hazrat Nooh A.S.

·         The ancient people of Sindh used to pray Mother Goddess.

·         The coastline of Sindh is 200 miles.

·         ‘Seendh’ is the old name of Indus River.

·         Sir creek is the strip of water that separates Sindh and Rajisthan.

·         Sindh Sagar doab is a tract of land lying between the Indus River and Jehlum River.

·         The word 'DOAB is of Persian origin signifying the region between two river.

·         From the lineage of Ahl-e-Bait, Abdullah Bin Muhammad was the first to enter in Sindh.
